10TH & G OFFICES

Project Description

This dynamic mixed-use project includes 188,000 square feet of Class A office space, Church worship space for 300 congregants, and a retail program. The LEED Gold certified
project presents an opportunity to instill lively activity into the area by incorporating new uses in the Penn Quarter and Gallery Place neighborhoods of Washington, DC. The project, immediately adjacent to the Martin Luther King Public Library (Mies van der Rohe’s only building in Washington DC) and across the street from CQA’s award-winning Mather Building Studio Lofts, is the result of a successful response to the solicitation from the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Cunningham | Quill has collaborated with Tod Williams / Billie Tsien Architects on a portion of this project. The design for the project represents a bold new architecture for this exciting program.
