A recent graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Alexander joined Cunningham | Quill Architects in September of 2021. As an undergraduate student, he participated in a study-abroad program in Rome, Italy. There, he experienced the hallmarks of historic and classical architecture, and learned how these concepts have persisted the test of time.
Alexander has a deep appreciation for the wide variety of emotions and sensations that spaces can evoke. More specifically, he is interested in how these ideas can translate themselves at various scales, from a simple room designed for a one to a grand space meant for hundreds. Alexander is most interested in modern and contemporary design, with nods to historical and classical styles, as well as an emphasis on connection to nature.
