ALEX COMAS, AIA, LEED-GREEN ASSOCIATE

PROJECT ARCHITECT

Alex-C_0011.jpg

Mr. Comas received his Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. A native to the DC metropolitan area, he is especially interested in the intersection of community and structures found in the urban environments, and the role that architecture plays within a City. His Master’s thesis studied this intersection through the temporary installation of a playful fence-like structure at an artists’ residency in Detroit that activated and subverted a historically fraught border between neighbors by creating a gate, gathering space, and porous boundary between the two communities. Mr. Comas is a LEED Green Associate and previously worked for Maurice Walters | Architect and Christian Zapatka Architect. He is bilingual, with native fluency in English and Catalan.
