Emily Capodilupo graduated from Catholic University of America with two Master degrees, one in Architecture and the other in City and Regional Planning. While there, Ms. Capodilupo received the David M. Schwartz Travel Fellow Award. This allowed her to travel to Midwestern towns where she analyzed the potential uses of abandoned industrial sites. In each city she visited, Ms. Capodilupo met with city officials, architects, and developers to better understand concepts behind planning initiatives, architectural design in industrial buildings, and ways in which a city’s identity stemmed from the physical representation of abandoned factories. Ms. Capodilupo brings to the firm her keen eye in examining urban spaces from multiple scales; from master plan ideas to architectural details.
