Adam Chamy’s work focuses on adaptive reuse, sustainability, and social empowerment through design. He has worked with the Neighborhood Design Center providing design guidance in several community based redevelopment projects in Prince George’s County and as a graphic design assistant for the University of Maryland College Park. Mr. Chamy holds a Master of Architecture and a Master of Community Planning from the University of Maryland – College Park and graduated cum-laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University.

Mr. Chamy served as a presenter at the American Institute of Certified Planners for a sustainability plan for Frederick, Maryland and was awarded an AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten for Students Award and an AIA Maryland Juror Citation for Student Architectural Design. His graduate architectural thesis “Timescapes: An Architectural Process of Memory and Adaptation” focused on how architecture and urban spaces can incorporate under-represented narratives and histories through adaptive design. Mr. Chamy is a practicing fine artist and illustrator whose work has been exhibited over a dozen times including at the United Nations Northeast Gallery in New York City and the Museo del Brigantaggio in Itri, Italy.
