The Terraces at Arlington View, located in the Arlington View neighborhood in Arlington, VA, is a new multifamily housing redevelopment that will provide 77 new affordable apartments near Columbia Pike. Next to the Army Navy Country Club with easy access to a vibrant, walkable community connected to public transportation.

The project team has met many challenges to date: obtaining Arlington’s Columbia Pike Neighborhood Form Based Code approval, securing Arlington AHIF and Virginia Housing LIHTC funding, designing to 100% Universal Design, designing for Earthcraft Multifamily Gold and Energy Star Multifamily Certification, and working with a steeply-sloped site. Our design takes advantage of the daylight and beautiful views to the south, providing an inviting front porch and entry at the neighborhood corner, and incorporating massing and materials that complement the residential neighborhood. Sustainability is also a priority; the project includes a green roof, solar photovoltaic system, stormwater filtration planters, a high-performing building envelope, and efficient mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
