This plan provided methods to give a new identity to a critically important redevelopment node for the City of Fairfax.

Located in a main creek watershed, this vision for the new neighborhood and activity center achieves the economic development goals of the city for a mixed-use, bus transit connected, retail-focused hub while furthering the environmental goals for the city. Recommendations were made for land uses, street network, block plan, public amenities, and other related elements. A key feature of this plan was the development of a linear park along a major pedestrianized “main street” which anchors retail, provides a civic hub, and offers a main street for the new community.
