Ward 7 short-term family housing breaks ground with a community walk led by Mayor Muriel Bowser

Cunningham | Quill Architects is honored to be part of Mayor Muriel Bowser’s plan to end homelessness in the District. This week Mayor Muriel Bowser, the DC Department of General Services,  the DC Department of Human Services, Cunningham | Quill Architects, and MCN Build broke ground on a new Short-term Housing Facility for Families in Ward 7. Designed by Cunningham | Quill the new facility will provide 35 sleeping units for families, as well as offices, computer facilities, and an outdoor play area. The groundbreaking was celebrated with a Community Walk led by Mayor Muriel Bowser through the neighborhood.
