FAIRFAX SMALL AREA PLANS
Cunningham | Quill developed four (4) Small Area Plans for the City of Fairfax from 2019-2024: Old Town, Northfax, Kamp Washington, and Fairfax Circle.
The team worked with the City of Fairfax and community members to create four unique plans that would enhance the identity, sustainability, and connectivity of each study area across the city. Design charettes, townhall meetings, and stakeholder meetings, were key to the development of each plan to ensure that they addressed the present, future needs of the community. Each plan provided unique place-making, transportation, land use, and sustainability strategies to enhance the resiliency of the City of Fairfax.
